I have had many, many ford trucks, and I've always been able to turn the seatbelt chime off (always wear my seatbelt around town, but when I'm off road at the farm, it's a pain to put it on... but I HATE hearing that chime.) I tried the normal steps to turn it off, but they don't work on the newer trucks. does anyone have the magic steps?? Thanks!

Look in the manual under belt minder. I think the newer trucks you only have to buckle and unbuckle 3 times instead of 9. Not sure but it is in the manual.

mine is an 09 and the manual stated unbuckle/buckle 9 times but after countless failed attempts it only took 3 times for it to work properly

I can't believe you haven't received any sm@rt@$$ replies like "put your seatbelt on." lol They are right though, 3 times will do it and make your life so much quieter.

If you've got one of the MyKey trucks, give any kids or whatever that drive it the MyKey and it will make the seatbelt dinger come back on for that key. It turns back off when you use the admin key again.
