Default Seat Wiring: Looking for a Run-Only Hot Wire

Question for someone familiar with the driver side seat wiring. I'm looking for a run only hot wire. Which wire near the DSM would work for this? A wire diagram would be helpful too if anybody has one.

What for? That will change everything - depending on what it is you need a hot wire for...

I don't think it matters. I just need a ignition switched hot wire. Not driving a heavy load with it, just need to know when the truck is on.

Needs to be in the driver seat area.

Get a multimeter and start hunting for hot wires that are only hot when the key is on.

That's the fastest easiest way.

No LEDs. Just need a 12V signal, but I fear everything in the seat is always hot

Just looking for some info on wires please. Does anyone know of a good resource for detailed wiring diagrams for F150s?

Ya, unfortunately that might be my only choice. Trying to avoid tapping every wire down there as none of the connectors are exposed

Thanks for the info rnlcomp.

I got those tricky connectors open and hit all the pins with the multimeter. There is no delayed accessory wire in the seat! Grr. The best I found was +6V in run which isn't exactly what I was looking for.

Oh ya and all my airbags went off.

Any yellow connections, don't touch those.
