Does anyone know of a maker of aftermarket replacement seats? for the late model F150's? These factory bucket seats are killing my back and they are too narrow for my wide . . . ah . . . frame. And that jumpseat in the middle is too far forward. What I'd like is a good old bench seat. But I'd settle for wider buckets that has a flatter seat cushion. I've got an XL with the regular cab. And I love this "bare bones" truck but these seats have got to go.

I've tried the ortho cushions and they work for a while. But I want a permanent fix. Any suggestion?

Find a local upholstery shop and have them make you one

Have you figured anything out yet. I don't even like driving my new truck. When did they change to this crappy seat?

Did you guys not drive the trucks before you bought them? I would think you could swap seats from an XLT or higher trim level into your truck as well as an option.

2003 was the last year for bench seats. I don't know how much trouble it would be to combine that frame with newer bases
