I checked the online manual and did exactly what it said to do word for word and it didn't work... Any ideas on why? Cuz I'll do the whole parking break unbuckle\buckle 9 times n all that stuff but the warning light never comes on after I buckle and unbuckle 9 times

I'll take a snapshot of the page if you want. It is tricky, but I got it to shut off on this 13 and my 05.
I always wear my belt. I just like to get settled those first few minutes. Plus I can be stuck waiting to back out of my driveway for a bit, and it's too restrictive the way I have to lean to see.
Then there is my ditzy, smokin hot neighbor's wife that backs out regardless of the big white tailgate in her mirror.

that'd be great if you could bro. N I usually don't wear my seatbelt but I'm young and dumb lol (21yrs old) n I don't really see the need to wear one when I'm usually just in small towns where it's 50km\h (I do wear it on highways tho). I hate the beeping tho lol

Darwin's Law strikes again. You're right, no one dies driving in small towns. ..

50kph + another vehicle going 50kph or higher = you are into the dash and through the windshield and dead.

Some advice from an old man to a young man - buckle up. Even in town. Most fatal accidents occur within 5 miles of your home. I have personally witnessed an head-on accident in which the ONLY reason the man lived was due to his seat belt. Like you, I didn't see a need for a seat belt. That day changed my mind permanently. Once you get used to it you will feel naked without it. Do yourself, your family and friends a favor and wear it. Funerals for young people really suck.

To the op - Be sure to adhere to the described periods while performing the procedure. If not, you can't complete the sequence. It's clearly described in the manual procedure of the time requirements. I do mine on all my vehicles, and just did my '14 last week.

And for all the moral police - sometimes the dinger can be annoying when you're just moving vehicles around in the driveway. Like when I'm washing vehicles. There's only one spot in my large driveway that I like to wash my vehicles, because that spot is the most flat, and it's closest to the drain. And also when I'm repositioning my boat trailer, the ATV trailer, or the snowmobile trailer on my property.

Even though you're perfect and know everything, don't be so quick to judge other people. The op didn't ask if you think they should disable the dinger.

Honestly I don't need a bunch of randoms telling me to wear a seatbelt. Yeah I could go threw the window but **** happens I guess. It's not like any of you actually know me so don't act like you care lol I'm old enough to make my own decision. go call the cops if you're so worried. Like **** boys I'm not trying to sound like a dick but I didn't ask for your opinion of if I should wear it or not. I fully know and understand the consequences of my actions and I know that I'm putting myself at a greater risk but I accept that.
