What tires to go on my raptor wheels.
Hi All,
I have a 2010 2wd XLT with the 3.31 diff. I recently bought some raptor wheels. They were cheaper than any aftermarket wheel that I liked. I can't decide on what tires to put on them. I was going to get the 285/70/17 BFG Rugged Terrain but now I am thinking about a better quality tire in a smaller size. Like Goodyear SilentArmor or Michelin A/T2 in a 265/70/17. I may put some Bilstein shocks on the front for a little more clearance if I get the 285/70. I would like to stay around $200 a tire and I really do not do any off-roading and don't want a lot of road noise. In the future I do plan to possibly get diff gears and a tru-trac locker.
What does everyone think?
