Ouch. Maybe Ford should start putting that grab handle on for the driver. It's the only thing on my 09 that I miss from the 06.

just wait till you get slush on the roads. your running boards will vanish in the ice.

That's a 10-4.

I hope my new mudflaps will help out on that problem.

Hmmm, I guess your truck didn't come with the heated running boards, along with the heated mirrors??

I almost bit it hard getting into my truck for work the other morning, only that that saved my pants was the grab handle

I didn't know they stopped that for 09, it's not even an option?

Wow, I was just thinking the same thing! My 02 and 06 have them on both sides.

i have heated mirrors (very nice option) but I think heated running boards is a little 'wussy' for any truck, even fords

I noticed that my 2010 Screw did not have the grab bars like my '02 during the initial look-over and test drive, and ignored it, knowing that I was scheduled for surgery on my shoulder 2 weeks later. I should also mention that my truck did not have running boards/step bars, which made for an interesting entrance into cab I've since purchased a set of Westin step bars, which my best friend installed for me, so getting into the truck is no longer an Olympic event
