Running Board Recommendations Please

+3 for the Ampresearch recommendation. I used to have the oval Ford ones on my truck, and they were slippery. The amps come down to a better position, are wider and have a no slip surface. Not to mention the cool factor and they don't look like you have anything until they deploy (If you like the running board look). You can sometimes find used ones for cheap.

I would go with Amp Research if money wasn't an issue. They are a cool $1,000+ though.
If you're interested, I'm actually going to put up my stock running boards for sale that came on my new 2012 FX4. They are in perfect condition, nothing wrong with them. Probably sell them for ~$200.

Haven't upgraded to them yet, but I want Luverne O-MegaSteps. I want to eliminate all of the chrome on my truck, and the black finish is anodized aluminum, eliminating the rust concern I would have with most black step rails/running boards here in snowy New England.

I've looked at these. How far to they stick out horizontally? My problem with the stock nerf bars is that when I go to get out there isn't much room and I have just my heel on it, half my foot at best if I take extra precautions.
