Default Rub or interference during hard left.

Frequently, during a hard left, there is a rub or interference sound that comes from the front passenger wheel area. Happens during a FULL turn left--usually into a driveway.

Any suspension mods? I'd start by checking anything that is non-factory. Get down in that wheel well and look for any signs of wear or rubbing. Also check the inside surface of the tires. If you can locate the offending part you will know what needs to be fixed or replaced. If everything is stock, take it to the dealer and make them check it under warrenty.

If all else fails, just don't turn that hard.

I have experienced the exact same issue several times. I really noticed it when I was making a hard left and going from a level surface to an elevated one or going from a level surface going downward. I have all stock equipment on truck.

All stock XLT. The truck has the 17" wheels with the Hankook tires.

Then it sounds like you need to take it back to the dealer to have it checked out,
Sorry man.

BTW, it's a supercab 4x4.

Thanks for the validation Dironk4011.

I'm gonna look around on the inside of the tire for any scrapes. It sounds and feels like a scraping-stiction type of behavior.

Just wondering if others had experienced similar behavior.

I will take it in if it continues.

Not a problem, mine is a supercrew and also sounds and feels like scraping. I have looked in the passenger wheel well and don't see anything. If you figure out what it is let me know. I have had soooo many issues with this truck I don't plan on taking it in; all I would hear would be cannot duplicate or its normal for YOUR truck. Won't have it past the warranty period anyways. This thing has been a P.O.S.! Not like any ford I have ever owned.......guess I was due for a bad one.
