I guess you could call it a gain, a lot of drone. Maybe the gain in the drone, made up for the loss of fuel economy and power. I'm not sure the tradeoff was worth it.

I hope your results turn out better than mine did. My drone at 1750 rpm or so was unbearable on the freeway at speed. I drove a 400 mile round trip with it, and parked it until I had time to do something about it. I wound up, after some experimenting, with the hybrid system in my sig. A younger guy might like all the noise, but this olde guy with bad hearing, felt it was just too much.
Before you think it's just an "olde guy" thing, bear in mind I was into drag racing, ProStreet Daytona, and been playing with cars/trucks since the mid '60's. I DO NOT know it all, and never will either.
After I went with the SCTX4 tuner, I did notice the exhaust tone deepen, and the mileage and power came back, and maybe just my imagination, but seems easier on the ears.
Just a couple things I've noticed and have done, and possibly some suggestions if you run into problems like myself.
