Default ROUSH 5.0L Coil Cover install

This weekend a buddy and I installed some ROUSH coil covers part# 421242

Super simple install...Kit comes with 2 red coil covers and 7 plastic ball studs. There are existing holes in the valve cover to screw in the plastic self tapping ball studs.

A ratchet and socket is a pain in the @$$ to use...screw driver handle and 8mm socket is the way to go.

Be very careful these are made of plastic and will snap off easily...ask my buddy Eric how we know...

Here they are installed in the cover, 3 on each side...

Here is what the cover looks like...made of plastic also.

Passenger side installed---

"Rinse and Repeat" on the driver side and done.

They are just a molded piece of plastic..I'm sure a damp rag and mild detergent would do the trick.

I have the Boss version (Blue) and they don't come with the Ball Studs. I ordered some Studs from Ford and they were too big. Roush definitely has the "kit" part down, but I do love how my Blue covers look on the blue truck.

I like those Roush covers. What color is your truck? I would think Black/Red trucks the theme would fit!

My truck is black...I would have rather had blue ones but went with the ROUSH ones to keep with the theme(cai/exhaust)
