Default Rough Country 2.5in Level and 1in rear block

I want to install the Rough Country 2.5in Level and 1in rear block on my 2010 150. I would like to see some pictures if available. If you do please include tire size. Also, I would like to know how the ride quality compares to stock. Thank you very much!

I have the leveling kit but no block. Might add the block at a later date. The ride is the exact same but you may feel a little more roll when cornering. Stayed with stock tires.

I have a 2.5" Autospring level kit on front and 3" block on back to replace the stock 1-5/8" block that came on truck. I put 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 18x9 XD Addicts, +18mm offset. Minimal rub on front right valence when in reverse and wheel turned all the way to the left. I am going to cut it eventually, just haven't gotten around to it and it really doesn't bother me all that much.

I have a 2010 SCREW and am thinking of puting in a lift hit. Sorry to ask, because I know it's been talked about, but what sort of special tools do you need to do this? I have mechanic skills but have not seen this done before. What do you need to actually bring up the fron to match the rear on a factory 2010 XLT and why is a rear block needed and what is it? Pretty basic questions but we all start somewhere.

air hammer and torque wrench were good to have. Need socket wrench and sockets of a few different sizes, jack and jack stands, and a few other misc. items, but thats basically it. Nice to have an extra set of hands to help, but not absolutely necessary. Took about 1.5 hours to get front completely done. First one took almost an hour, but flew through the second side.

I think I have seen around that 2" front level gets the truck the most level, but I do not know for sure.

The rear block is used to rase the rear up. It is simply a block that sits on either side in the rear, between the leaf springs and the axle. 4X4 F150 come stock with a 1-5/8" block out of the factory and I replaced it with a 3" to add a little more than an inch lift in the back. Took about 20 minutes total to install on both sides.

I like the slight "rake" look, plus I tow boats and trailers on a regular basis, so that is why I put the rear block on, so when towing I wouldn't be nose high. Plus, when most people say that put a front level kit on the "level" the truck, by measurement from ground to wheel well might be the same in front in back, but by the naked I, I think a "leveled" truck still looks a little nose high, and I very much dislike that look.

Hope this helps.

Nice looking truck,
How did those tires effect your truck? MPG, Power, Handling? I'm really debating on what tire size. I commute so I don't want to loose any more Fuel mileage and handling than I have to. Thanks a lot.

if you want some rake, then make sure to put the 3" block on there if you do go ahead and put the front level kit on it
