Yes, I run them in stock fog location.

As far as I know, the D and D2 are the same size just with added LEDs with slightly different optics.

I run white LEDs but have amber covers.

It's a perfect fit with just some slight modification of the stock bucket housing.

They did but switched to the newer connector.

I just soldered on a new end to make it plug and play.

Res4cue what kind of modification did you have to make and that's good to know I have blinding lights on both sides of the license plate frame. I use the red covers but I think the amber bulbs give off a more true color. Also note that I have a California car that's why I kept the plate frame.

I am Va and need plate also.

Other than drilling a hole for the mount nothing really. I just pulled the bucket out and then took out the stock light. Once that's out you drill the mounting hole. I had a nice flat little area to drill on mine. You just have to figure out how far back you want them before you drill.

I did drill a hole on either side to adjust the up and down but I've never needed it.

I also used two big flat washers one inside and one outside the bucket. I bent them slightly to mirror the shape of the bucket and give more support.

Thank you so much that helped a lot. Is it possible to wire them to the oem connect on the dash and a secondary switch in my switch panel

I soldered mine into the OEM wiring and use the stock switch like stock. If you want to do it the other way I think you need to run a relay and that is beyond me. Lol

There is a thread somewhere on here with pics showing how they mounted their LEDs in the stock location. Just like I did but like I said, I added washers.

I am about to do the same thing with my cubes, not Rigids but just another LED cube. I was looking at the wires today and to me it looks like you could just cut the male factory harness and strip the positive and negative wire directly to the positive and negative wire coming from the light? All the male and female harness is making that same connection correct? Just wondering if I can save myself the hassle of finding the harness if that possible and anyone knows the answer

Just got mine done the other day. Went with the D2's in wide beam pattern. Awesome light paired with my OEM HID's. Lights up the back roads really nicely when I'm driving home late at night from work. Wired them to factory switch and also wired them to stay on when highs get switched on.

This pic is of just my OEM hids on and no fogs

Then this pic is just the d2's on and no headlights. I basically don't even need headlights anymore lol. But obviously I can't drive with the d2's on in traffic
