Default Unusually High Fuel Mileage On New Ecoboost Limited

This is one very nice truck but I think I may have to have it looked at in the service department. My average fuel mileage can't possible be right after only 600 miles on the new 2014 2wd Ecoboost Limited with a 331:1 gear ratio. No I'm not going down hill.

Anyone else getting this kind of fuel mileage with your Ecoboost?
The average fuel mileage showing on the indicator is at 65 mph.

If it's a 4wd, forget it! My '13 Limited 4wd is averaging 14.8 mpg and that's on road trips and all! If I'd known it would get this lousy mileage, it'd be in another persons garage and I'd have something else!!

Same here. I'm averaging 15 mpg in mine even on really long road trips with nothing but highway driving. Granted, I have 35 inch tires, but mine only dropped maybe 1 mpg after adding the larger tires. I'm not sure where there ECO is in the name ECO BOOST. My buddies who don't have Fords always say "you must get great gas mileage in that EcoBoost". Then I tell them "hell no" and that I don't understand why it's called an EcoBoost.

It's 2 wheel-drive. It does have a 3:31.1 gear ratio but that's still exception fuel mileage even for those gears isn't it?

The MPG in the white is the average, The green bar is the instant gauge.

From my experience that guesstimate is far off until you get closer to E. I do average 16-17 city traffic driving in my 11 Eco.

ha, I get 12-13 average. thats a mixture of city and highway. Really disappointed on the mpg part of the truck. But i still love it. Wonder if a tune would help. just intake and tune. i like my truck nice and quiet. all i wanna hear is the ticking of my engine......... hahaha, is that normal or is that a whole other thread....
