Right Rear Door Ajar warning
I have been getting an intermittent Right Rear Door Ajar warning on my dash the past couple months (2010 XLT Scab, 6 months old, < 4500 miles on the odometer). This happens even when I haven't recently used the door - I have actually been avoiding using it so I don't have to go through the door slamming routine. Now driving to work this morning, it came on before I got off my driveway and I can't get it to go off.
I have made an appointment with the dealership for them to fix this coming weekend. The service guy said I could try some spray lubricant on the latches to see if I could free up the switch (as a temporary measure). The little bit I tried didn't do the trick (I had to get to work).
I was wondering if anyone out there on the forum has had a similar issue and how and what was the fix.
Thanks in advance.

if you pull on the bottom of the rear door you will probley notice that the bottom lock isnt locked. i had this issue last week when it got cold took it to the dealer and they said lock was just seized. they fixed it and it has happend again it going into today ill let you know.

so picked my truck up from the dealer. after they got my back door to open and they lubricated and reattached the cable they parked it outside where it was probably -15 out. they went out a few hours later the door opened but then the lock was sized again and the cable had let go. so they are ordering me a new lock and cable for the door lets hope this will fix the problem.
