Reviewing side-view mirror wiring diagram

Reviewing the wiring diagram for side-view mirrors I notice a Pink interior lamp wire and connector. Can someone tell me what the Pink interior lamp wire has to do with side-view mirrors?

Is that possibly for the puddle lamp on the bottom of the mirrors?

im gonna say yes, cuz the puddle lights come on when you unlock your car just like the dome lights.

Yes, the Violet wire is for the puddle lamps and is for the 2009-2010, not sure on the 2011's yet but I will know soon as I am getting ready to do it.
