Well my ballast have been shipped yesterday. Hopefully they arrive soon. Wasn't contacted for shipping charges. Hope there isn't a bill in the box

I finally got some progress made on my retrofits. I have a lot left to do yet but I'm excited to get this far.

Here's the first reflector bucket after I made my first cut. It's a little small but I didn't want to cut to much and have to worry about big holes to fill later. Not knowing really how much I would end up cutting it took me awhile of cutting and sanding the area bigger and bigger to fit the projector.

The lines and cuts are not the greatest but they work and I was able to get things close enough to mount the projector to the bucket

With the projector mounted

With my shroud trimmed up a hair and on the projector

I got both projectors mounted and shrouds trimmed up and set up my lights to get an idea of how it's going to look...

Well that's where I'm at so far. I am going to paint my reflector buckets and shrouds satin black next. Then I can build my lights so I can install them on the truck so I can align them. Anyone have any good tips to align the lights? Once I get them aligned on the truck what's the best way to keep them from moving while I take them apart so I can JB weld the projector to the bucket? Thanks for your guys' help so far and hopefully in the not to distant future I can have a pair of retrofits that I can be proud of.

Nice job kws148! I have a build thread that may offer some advice, although I did not use screws to mount my projector housings. My thread is under the lighting section, and I've tried to be as detailed as possible every step of the way!

when I aligned my lights I used the jb stick, made 3 ***** and stuck it to the reflector bowl then pressed the projector in and lined it up held it for a few minutes till it was hard. didn't have to take anything apart I just had the reflector in the housing without screwing it down so everything was free.

what did you use as the shroud?

I meant behind the shroud the "extension"
