Both of my TRS ballasts failed to fire last night (20 degrees F) after a huddle house run... twice. Then one came on... then the other one came on. Then they both finally fired. My passenger light then flickered to a lovely pink color (in celebration of the new year I suppose) for about 1 minute before coming to color. I hope the new ballasts fix this issue, and I hope my bulbs haven't been damaged because of the erratic starting.

Hmm. There are a lot of ppl struggling with the morimoto ballasts hey? Yikes. Let's not blame TRS, as they don't manufacture the ballasts, but should be responsible for testing quality prior to selling. My thoughts.

I had a lot of trouble with the Morimoto stuff on my retros. I'm very reluctant to install them on my dad's truck.

Guys, if you are still having some lingering issues after receiving the new ballasts: it's your bulbs. We had a couple reports like this, we replaced the bulbs and everything was working perfectly once again. Seems the SS ballasts took a few bulbs down with them. Please contact us so we can take care of that for you

As some others have just mentioned, the DSP ballasts will not have any cold start issues guaranteed.

Their "lifetime" warranty is a joke.

They make you pay for the replacement and you send the old stuff back, then you never get refunded.

They f*** you every chance they get. Speaking from experience, they will never have my business again.
