I got everything I need just about for my retrofits:

(everything is from TRS minus the heads and Oracle halos)
FXR 3"
Apollo 3.0 shrouds
White halo rings
White Oracle halo rings
50w morimoto ballasts
6k ds2 bulbs
H13 relay harness
Butyl sealant
New set of headlights for retrofit

I think that's all I need for the retrofit minus the paint for the shrouds and bezel. Not sure if I want to paint the bezel flat black or oxford white to match my truck. Shrouds and reflector bucket will be painted flat black as well. I'll probably leave the chrome for the turn signal. Any recommendations before I get started? I've read this thread numerous times already. Just gonna try and be patient getting the lenses off. I'll try and keep you guys posted on my progress as well as looking for answers if I end up having any questions.

I would do the big bezel white, and the smaller bezel that goes around the projector lens black.. Or vice versa! either way would look good. GL!

I AM 100% totally reverting back to stock halogens. MORIMOTO FROM TRS HAS FAILED ME AGAIN,

RECEIVED AND INSTALLED THE UPDATED STRONGER BALLASTS AND HAVE NO LIGHTS WHATSOEVER. REINSTALLED OLD BALLASTS AND AT LEAST I HAVE ONE WORKING HEADLIGHT.

Headlights are in my house warming up, removing the h1 mini retro and stock halogens going back in.

I am INCREDIBLY disappointed with quality of parts from morimoto. I truly hope that TRS will refund me for ANY portion of the retrofit, seeing as how they haven't worked properly since the day they were installed.

Left is older ballast, rt one is new revised version - the new ones don't work at all on my truck, 1 out of 2 of my old ones work

Plugged in my factory halogen bulbs that came with truck, both work flawlessly as we would all expect, removing projector and install halogens first thing tomorrow.

Why keep projectors installed for MONTHS on end that don't properly work? It's embarrassing driving since July 2013 with one headlight in a new company truck.

I'll happily sell my whole kit to highest offer, or smash each individual piece and upload it to YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

Either way, phuq this.

You can remove your retro? Mine is locked in with JB Weld and silicone lolThat sucks about your ballasts not working. Have you swapped them around to see if it's the ballast or the wiring? What does your voltmeter say?

I don't have a volt meter - yes swapped ever part known to man in regards to the hid kit.

Please understand I have dealt with this since July. I no longer care. Like... At all. I might smash the projectors just to relieve some stress.

I have begged TRS to previously refund my kit, and they insist on "try this, try that".

I don't have time. I run a business, and can't spend an hour each night trouble shooting headlights...

If my customers were as livid as I am, I would credit them back empathizing for the situation.
