Good question. I've got someone who's interested in doing a retrofit for me and I was thinking about placing an order for the FX-R 3.0 3" kit + white angel eyes with Panamera shrouds. Thinking of painted the bucket gloss black, the "frame" is already gloss black, and doing the shroud in gloss red which will tie into my black / red emblems. What do you guys think? Good plan?

I bought a kit about 3 weeks ago directly from trs I mention this forum and they gave me a great discount. I wasn't apart of any group buys.

HC, thanks yeah it should be here just in time for final install. I mounted the projectors last night it's starting to look like the end (hopefully)

Hooray! It's now at the point when I can finally say I'm 100% done the retros (hopefully no more issues arise). My rubber housing caps and new halo driver arrived today so I hooked it all up and tapped the new driver into the side marker lights. It looks great lit up!! Now I need some LED switchbacks.

I'm one to live in the moment. And at the moment, they're working beautifully! I'm very happy. Hopefully these rubber caps keep water out better than the stockers. Not sure how they're supposed to keep moisture out better than anything else, but I hear they work, so we'll see.

What size did you use? I've noticed you can go to the inner or outer ring with caps

I used 100mm that go around the outer ring. They seem to hold pretty good, but I ran a bead of butyl around the edge just in case. Now I'm thinking I could've used both the stock and TRS rubber caps to keep moisture out. Oh well.

did you guys who are having moisture issues remove all the old sealant and use new sealant? I did that and also ran a bead of latex sealant and have never had an issue....knock on wood
