When you remove them put them in bags (completely sealed is better) and DON'T take them out until you finish everything. This helps to keep dust down to a minimum. If you're painting the bezels remove them right away and then put the lenses in bags. Before sealing the heads blow the lenses off with compressed air but do not wipe them with anything because they scratch VERY easily. That's why it's important to keep them clean.

So I went to install the bulbs and ballasts to start test fitting. I attached the ballast into the back of the bulb, went to twist and lock, and it won't fit? Like I can't twist the back of the bulb into the orange fitting, the two ***** don't go deep enough down. Whats happening?

Are you sure you're seating the D2S plug deep enough onto the bulb base? It's a pretty tight fit. Once the bulb is in the projector push on the back of the plug with your palm and turn. Definitely takes some effort.
