Newest update of the heads!!
At first out idea of making a cutoff line on the bar was drawn, engineered, and fabricated
This design included a piece of metal we had lazer cut after several trial and error session, mounted to the upper rail of the bar, suspended by a linear actuator (12V 3" stroke) on each end of the plate, this plate raised and lowered when the high beam was engaged/disengaged
Everything worked flawless, mounted and secured in place...
The design simply took away the look of a headlight, and simply had too much going on inside of the light to appreciate the light itself
So back to drawing board we went. We went through our entire inventory (smaller application lights) tearing apart and testing several of them. Our minds were made up on our "single spot" 10 watt fixtures, they have the best beam pattern in terms of lighting the road efficiently and not blinding on-comers...without modifying the fixture/reflector/led. We needed more than one of these for the output to be equivalent to the stock halogen bulb, but you can't have cosmetic things in pairs so we went ahead and did three!
Finalized mounting, aiming, painting, and wiring are coming soon
