Is this a problem?
How did you guys mount your h1 minis?

Did the retro, but there wasn't room for the primary mounting nut, the TRFS site specified you don't need the nut if it isn't deep enough for it, and can hold the projector in place with th bulb mounting p,ate which has 3 screws in it. This is what I've done now, seems ok, other than a slight wiggle pattern on the road with only drivers side unit. I then snugged up the three screws on this side and still a slight wiggle.

You need to sand down the back so you hace have access to the threads. One trick to gain a little more room and still mount properly is to use the h7 adapter instead of the regular adapter as it is thin and will allow for more threads. The order should go projector, rubber grommet, reflector bowl, h7 plate, nut, bulb holder.

Alrighty. Back in business. Plugged in my new ballast and it worked until the first bump in the road. Kicked the driver's side headlight out again.
*sigh*
Brought me to the relay harness. Thankfully, my dad's FXR kit came in and I took his relay harness until I can get mine warrantied. Found that the connection between the relay harness and the driver's side ballast was faulty. I'm pissed, but glad I finally found the problem that kept knocking out my light.
It seems like all the elements of an FXR kit have been refined with better quality since I got my kit earlier in the year. Ballasts are slimmer with better quality connectors and such. Glad they have warranty, and glad we had another relay harness kicking around. I'd have been furious if I had to pull these things out again.
