Default retro fit lariat front leather seat to my xlt

My buddy has a wrecked 2014 lariat that he's parting out, and has given me 1st chance on the leather seats, what's to it to hook up heated seats and all that other options that comes with seat. Has anyone done this? I got the rears all cleaned up and installed. Got a XTR XLT

Obviously if your buddy is local you can go look at the seat harness and see if your truck has the matching male/female plugs. More then likely Ford uses the same interior harnesses for all the trucks, so it should be a direct bolt in.

I would take the door panels, center console, and the seats also. Smartest way IMHO to upgrade an XLT to an upper scale truck being smart with your $$$. Really there isn't much upgrade differences between the low end models and the upper end models except for what they suck out of your wallet in the realm of $10,000-$30,000 with interior options.

Just my opinion......

You should be able to add lariat seats to your xlt no problems... I believe someone else on here has done it a while back...

I wouldn't say that Ford uses the same interior harnesses for all trucks. There are a few options like power fold mirrors and auto headlights that aren't wired in some of the XL and STX model trucks.

I don't think the XLT has a harness for the seat temperature control. I would suggest looking at an XLT wiring schematics.
