Replacing front struts...
Just wanted to be sure before having this done, but the negative battery terminal needs to be disconnected before replacing as to not interfere with the EPAS correct?

wait. what?
I forgot to disconnect the battery when I installed the level on my 2014, and luckily I had no complications from it. but when in doubt, just do it, it's never a bad idea.

Did mine last week as well but have a little creaking in the right front, I need to check the torque on the suspension but havent has any luck finding the torque values for the suspension yet. Other wise I love the way the truck looks now.

I don't understand the concern about disconnecting the battery. I've done mine twice (I didn't like the Bilsteins and changed to BOSS). Neither time did I disconnect the battery. Nothing about it in the instructions.
NO adverse issues.
So what does the front end have to do with the battery?
NO adverse issues.

This is from the service manual. Any 2011 and later F150 with EPAS should have the battery disconnected before doing any steering or front suspension work. Issues may occur if you don't and if I remember correctly they don't happen right away.

Yes, the EPAS system has a direct connection to the battery (the "E" in EPAS stands for "electric"). But as windmechanic states, almost no tech will ever disconnect the battery... unless absolutely necessary (on anything). I know, I was one. Never experienced any issues.
