Cool Replaced front license bracket with bread loaf

Thanks to a member on here, I ordered the "bread loaf" cover to replace the license plate holder on my 2013 Platinum F-150 EB from Rock Auto and it came in today. Boy, it sure makes a difference in the looks. They come in a package of 2 so now I've got one for my 2012 Platinum EB in VA. Rock Auto had a great price for the pair $10.32 plus shipping. They are made in Taiwan, but I couldn't tell the difference between the original and the new one. BTW, Rock Auto also sells the original Ford part as well. I'm really happy as the truck looks balanced.

I'd do that if I could, but front plates are mandatory in this state. But it's all good, because I don't mind the look of the offset plate.

I just did the opposite. Took off the loaf and bought a new set with the side plate moint from a member on here. I have to have a front plate and can now install a light bar.

Nope, I also took my center mount one off and got aan Ecoboost mount. I broke a couple tabs and it was a little awkward trying to squeeze them to remove the old. The center plate has two flat tabs at the bottom and two squeeze type at the top.

None. I had them both out in 5 minutes. Pinch the two tabs you can resch and pull lightly until you feel them free. Then grab it with both hands and give it a hard tug. Both mine came out with the tabs still intact.

Anyone in the MD area looking to get rid of their ecoboost mount? Like others on here, I'm looking to relocate my 5.0 plate to accommodate a light bar. I really wish MD didn't require a front plate!
