Replace center seat with console?
Hey all,
I just bought a 2011 F-150 SuperCrew with EcoBoost engine. Sick ride and love everything about it except for one thing. I miss my old huge center console. Looking at ford parts.com, it looks like I can buy one however I'm not clear if I have to buy it in pieces and put it together or if I can buy it all in one piece.
Does anyone know the answer to this?
Another thing is if there is anyone out there looking to swap for a third front seat, let me know.
thank you in advance.
Rick

Check E-bay for a console. Reportedly there are some take-offs posted there from time to time. I have one out of a gray interior sitting on my garage floor right now, but I'm not sure I want to sell it.

My friend replaced his old seat with a center console. He got his from a truck that had been rearended and the truck was totaled, but center console was fine! You could check a salvage yard or eBay

RickDill1263,
Ford will only sell you pieces and you have to put together. It is not very hard, just very expensive. I purchased off of Ebay for my 2011 reg cab, took totally apart, repainted, and reinstalled in a few hours for 25% cost of new. Very nice option with lots of storage room. I recommend doing it.

Where did you find the matching paint for your console? I have the same color interior and would like to do the same.
