and I thought mine being set at 25 was overkill until it's really cold out and the windshield is iced to hell, its nice having the extra time...

25 mins seems too long.
I remember on super-cold nights (like, minus 25) I would have the truck auto-start every 3 hours for 12 minutes. That REALLY helped with warm-ups in the morning, but it was with the after-market Viper and not the OEM remote start.

Sorry no, but I'd bet the dealer would reprogram it for you as a courtesy.. I know mine would!

I just had my OEM Ford autostart installed last week and the range is phenomenal! Colour me "Impressed"

yes, study this document carefully, it lists the different option settings for the system:

Option bank 2, option 3 is what you want to change. you'll probably have to find your black programming button. Search under the driver's side dash along the wiring harness for the rmst system.
