2010 Platinum Back-Up Camera Issues
Got a 2010 Platinum with back-up camera problems.
When put in reverse:
80% of the time it is flickering, fuzzy, or black screen.
15% of the time it will be a clear picture but no colored guidelines.
5% of the time it will be perfectly fine. Clear picture. Guidelines.
Connection seems fine by the tailgate.
Anyone have similar problems? If so, any ideas or solutions?
Thanks, guys!

Also, please fill me in with the current mileage on your truck; I'll gladly look into any available options, if necessary.

I'm here to help, Joe328. Have you visited a dealer for this concern? If so, please fill me in with the outcome. If you haven't, I suggest using this tool to locate a nearby dealer and schedule an upcoming appointment. Having the dealer diagnose is a great first step!

I'm currently at about 53,000 miles.
I'd prefer to avoid the dealership route as much as possible. Truck is not under warranty so don't want what Bronco33 (above) went through happen to me. Diagnosis ($100?) followed by numerous replacements of parts ($$$).
I believe it is the connection. Was hoping to find someone who has come across a similar issue and made the fix themselves.
Have found lots of stories similar to Bronco33 on the interwebz.
Connectors are cheap.
