Default Remote Start

Now that winter is nearly here I'd like to get a remote start installed. Have any of you done this? Dealer installed or aftermarket? Opinions?

Check with Travis from http://kcautosound.com/home.php He has experience with both the Ford and aftermarket systems. He also sells systems prewired for the F150.

Default Direkt Start

I live in Fairbanks AK and had an aftermarket remote two way auto start put in. Well worth every cent. The brand that was installed was a Direkt Start.

I have the factory Ford remote starter and i think it works great, it does what its supposed to...start the truck. The second fob doesnt really bother me either its small so it doesnt make much difference.
