Default discussion thread for newly debuted 2015 F150

Now that the 2015 is out in the open and official, it might be helpful to have a single go-to thread for discussion and analysis rather than the several threads that exist now.

My initial impression is very positive. The weight loss alone will transform this segment as it will improve everything about the truck, from payload to towing capacity to braking, acceleration and handling, and of course fuel economy. I like the styling both inside and out, and the engine choices are very competitive.

Those that haven't seen it yet, here are some useful links...

No more 6.2L! I wonder if another engine is getting a good sized bump in power.

I would buy one if not for just upgrading my 2010 to a 2013. I planned to keep the 2010 for a long time but I wanted the 5.0 so I changed it out. But i can see myself keeping the 2013 even though this looks like one tough truck since I got nice power with the 5.0 and I can do plenty to upgrade it over time.

I will be trading the 2010 for one similarly loaded to mine ASAP, truck looks good to me, I like all the new tech in the interior and 360 degree cameras will come in handy maneuvering the truck around tight spots.

5.0 or ego-boost is now the question...

Is it me or does the 2015 wheel well gaps look to have less clearance. Almost looks as if they dropped the ride height. Maybe not, but pic sure look like it.
