Default jumper

I never took the jumper out of the little baggie it came in for my install, so no I don't think you should have the jumper in for the learn function.

Just as a point of clarification, you had to install the new OBDII port harness as well, correct?

Just what came with this kit, the RMU & RMST 200 series. I did double check and was told this kit was all I needed. Am I misinformed?

Was the remote start activated by your dealer? If so does it work?

Yes Benny got the remote start to work via the app but no communication with the lock/unlock/find

You need to find the procedure in the truck owners manual for programming a new key fob, you follow that procedure. Instead of hitting the lock button on a remote, you hit the lock button on the remote start app. So, you need to be sure you have that ready because you only have a short amount of time. The trucks are weird like that. I've installed one in an '14 explorer and you don't have to do that.

I want to thank everyone who helped out. Not sure what was going on but I attempted "learn mode" once again and it worked. The lock/unlock/find feature in the app immediately started working. These forums and the members provide so much help and assistance. Thanks again!

Default Activation

I just bought a used f150. The previous owner has the mobile phone adapter on the remote start but he never had it activated. I called all the dealers in my area and none would activate it and give me the pin # to set it up. Does any one know a number that I can call to have it done? I don't mind paying To get it done. all the dealers here did not want to waste there time. Any help or suggestion will greatly be appreciate!!

Thanks
