Default Recommended 2011 3.7L V6 tuner/programmer?

I have a 2011 F-150 XLT SCab 3.7L V6 2WD with the 3.73 rear axle ratio. I currently have an AIRAID CAI part number 401-239 installed, and Flowmaster 40 Series SIDO exhaust. I want to use a reliable and functional tuner/programmer for my truck. I have tried Superchips Flashpaq 1865, and it didn't work too well for me, I will be returning it soon. So now I need recommendations on a new tuner/programmer that will be compatible and work efficiently with a couple of good tunes for my setup. I am thinking of going with SCT X3, since Mike can do custom tunes tailored to my needs. Are there any other options? Thank you.

Sorry I'm not much help but for all the money you're spending, you could've just upgraded to a different engine that would be covered under warranty.... Especially if buying tuners that don't work and then having to buy another one...

I don't understand what you are trying to say. My current engine is covered under warranty, and the Flashpaq was the first tuner I bought, which was roughly ~$300, and I will get a refund because I am returning it. I put in roughly ~$250 for the CAI and ~$350 for the Flowmasters.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards. The tunes that Mike@5Star makes for you are compatible with AIRAID CAIs, correct?

Yes. And he can update for anything else you do down the road.

Sweet. Ordering tomorrow! I assume just give him a call and he will take care of me, or do I need to do anything ahead of time?

if your engine blows with having used a tuner, it is covered by warranty?!

My engine didn't blow, it is still fine. The only problem I had was when I ran the tunes the Flashpaq offered, I heard pinging noises. I went back to stock and the noise went away.
