Received and installed my BakFlip VP.(PICS)
Took a week to get here and it went on in literally 15 minutes with no cutting/modifications needed. I love the way it looks and held off on drilling through my plastic bed liner till I see if I need to. Can't see any sunlight sneaking through so I may be ok without the tubes.
Anyways, here goes..

Yeah I have heard that, if that's the case I'll find a way to stop them. It's looking cloudy out so I should know by the end of the night if I'm high and dry.

Very nice I'm shopping for one myself. Could you pm me where you purchased it from and how much it was if you don't mind? Thanks.

The tubes are for the water that gets caught in the drains on the rails. Mine get used all the time as water drains. I did go through the plastic things on the back of the bed but I've seen where guys have snaked the tubes down under the stake bed pocket holes. If you look where the drain tubes slide into the rails there is a squarish hole and you can just run them in there. No drilling and better looking.

Here's a better pic showing the low profile for anyone interested.
BTW, went through a nice rain storm AND a touch less car wash earlier and the only traces of water were right around the step as was stated by PawPaw before so I'll have to figure out how to cram some weather striping in there. Also installed the hoses but the channels stayed dry and if it didn't leak in a high pressure touchless carwash I feel pretty confident in it.
Also seen a 1.5-2mpg increase after installing it. Drove the same speed, same road w no wind(today had about a 10mph wind from the direction I was heading in) and was getting 21mpg today w the cover I saw a steady 23-23.5 mpg.
