Default Received $500 coupon after taking delivery

I received my $500 ecoupon for test driving a 2011 F150. I have already taken delivery of my 2011 F150 Lariat (12/10). What are the chances that I can get the dealer to issue me some sort of credit, or even get me the $500?

Since its more than 30 days, doubtful. If it was only a few days after delivery, they could probably redo the paperwork and include it in the deal.

That sucks they waited so long to send it out. Let us know what the dealer says.

If they can't rework the deal, they can't do anything with it. It can only be worked into a car deal, not good for parts or accessories.

I received my $750 coupon/brochure the day after I took delivery of my 2010 and sent it to the dealer. Ford sent me a check for $750 a couple of weeks later, so you might be alright. I don't think it has anything to do with the dealer, it's just a factory coupon. Good luck

I got my $750 coupon two weeks after getting the new truck. Sales manager laughed and said sorry, too late to use on the truck, but I could use it if I bought a new Tasurus.

I'd say that coupon would have had to be figured into your "deal" to be valid. (just as rebates have to be figured in your deal)

Obviously, the incentive is coming from FORD, and I doubt the dealer is going to pay the money out.

But, it never hurts to ask....

I think they have to honor it. I'd call Ford and ask. If you ask the dealer they'll just give u some BS so that they don't have to dish it out. But Ford can and will make sure you get it. Right now there's a big push for cust sat at Ford to excel over rivals like Toyota, and I'm sure that thus rebate would fall into this category.
