I'm sad to hear people are having problems with their Ecoboost motors. But I have only heard of a couple of acceleration loss incidents. Plus we've never had and issue with our Ecoboost and love it!

Anybody have any ideas about the percentage of dissatisfied owners of.... say, Corvettes.... Priuses.... Oooh- how 'bout RAM trucks (sorry, but I just had to throw that one in. -I think I'd take a broke-down EB F150 over a RAM truck...)?
95 out of 400,000 = 0.02375% - That's a problem rate that many aspire to!
I, as an award-winning structural welder, could only WISH to have a weld failure/rejection rate of 0.02375%!
Some people can get so ridiculous about such stupid things. Do these things seem to be promulgated by the "Jealous Others" who don't have the EB engine/tech? I think there's something to the idea...

Sorry, but the first thing that comes to *my* mind is the common denominator with all 3 EB engines... (that'd be you, BTW) It's kinda like the guy who's been married 4 or 5 times and says "I just haven't found the right one yet". He never thinks about BEING the 'right one'.

I work with a guy who had this issue with his 2011 FX2 EB. He would have the "lag" problem when accelerating at a fast pace in the rain. So, to test my EB, I try to accelerate quickly in the rain to see if it will experience this "lagging" effect. It hasn't happened yet after 6 months and countless tests.
As a matter of fact, it rained today while I was driving to work, and I had no such issues. I feel for the owners who have had this issue, and I hope it all works out in the end.
