Default Traction control STX crew cab 4x4

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this;
In 2 wheel drive and traction control off. I find that it does not fully turn off. With all this snow in the mortheast, sometes you want to do some power slides or donuts. The traction control still kicks on even when the switch turning it off is selected. Makes it hard to hold a controlled drift. What's up?
Thanks.

Have you tried pressing and holding the button, I think that will fully turn it off.

Read the manual, hold down the TC button for 5-10 secs, you will see it blink in gauge display then have fun.

As it was said, pressing it once just turns Traction Control off. Pressing it and holding it for 5-10 secs turns off Advance Trac. But its turned on automatically after 35MPH IIRC.

Also note single wheel spin is never turned off, so if 1 tire spins traction control will be trying to stop that 1 tire

Pressing and holding the TCS button will mostly disable Advancetrac allowing more wheelspin but it will still cut in to some degree when in 3rd gear or higher
