Does anyone ever had that problem of the rear power window not closing? I have a 2013 FX4 with 8000km (5000 miles) on it and twice last week I had a hard time closing it...needed to pull the button a few times before it closes. Today, I opened it like 2" and was not able to close it... opened an other 2", same thing. So it is still working for opening the window but it doesn't close.

I've never had a problem. Sounds like your switch is on its way out. Have the dealer replace.

Yep, mine has the same symptoms. I'll have it checked next weekend.

Yep - mine started acting up yesterday - its in the shop today. Same thing, the sliding rear window will open, but not close.

My 09 has been in the shop twice for this...well opposite. Mine doesn't like to open but will close just fine when I do get it working. Dealer can't seem to get it right it still acts up and been fixed 2 times.

I bought my truck at the end of May 2013...2 weeks later the back window would not function when you pressed the button. If you fiddled with it all of sudden it would work. Eventually it just stopped working.

Dealer said the switch was messed up and it kept the motor running and it burned itself out.

Took 2 days to get a new motor and switch ....but so far it is working like a champ.

Opens and closes way faster than the one on my 2011.

I have 12 fx4 and mine stopped a month after I bought it. Dealer replaced the window module behind the back seat and works fine. Dealer said Ford went to a different vender who makes the module, because of all the problems.

I had this problem once and my defroster quit working on rear window dealer replced under warranty, 18,000 2012 xlt, happy no problems anyore

I have a 2011 FX4 with only 13000 miles and my rear power window is doing the exact same thing. It started about a month ago. I was waiting for something else to wrong before taking the truck in to the dealer. I may have to bite the bullet and go but it's just a hassle.
