Rear Dual Exhaust & Rear Window
Hey Ya'll,
Got a question. Many many moons, I had a dual exhaust coming out the rear on my 86 Bronco. WHen I had the rear window open, I had problems with exhaust entering the cabin when moving.
I'm thinking of blowing my tax refund on a full duel exhaust, from block to rear bumper. Does anyone have a similar setup coming out under the bumper and have you noticed any exhaust while moving with the rear window open?
Thanks for any help,
Timothy

I was reading some post here that true duals can hurt the performance / mpg on these newer engines...
& broncos got fumes in b/c the rear window was right at the rear gate, where the exhaust came out... so, this isn't an issue on a truck, esp. with the aerodynamics built into them these days.
BUT I do agree... my first truck when I was 16, was dad's old '84 F250 HD with a 460. he put duals on, super turbo mufflers, out the back & an edelbrock 750cfm performer series carb. that thing had some great sound. I put chrome tips on later.
The main reason I miss that truck.
