Sorry to bring this thread back to life, but what are your measurments from the center of the hubcap to the center of the wheel well. Spoke with BDS today because my front end is sitting lower than i wanted. They told me i had a 4" lift installed.

Called the shop where i had it done and they said they messed up. They put on a four inch strut spacer instead of the six inch IFS strut. Just wondering about measurements to make sure it ends up being a true six inch lift. Thanks.

My measurements are from the center of the center cap, to the bottom of my Bushwacker extend-a- flares, (front fenders measurement - not rear) and my measurement is: 27".
Sounds like your shop really F'd up! (or trying to "get one over on you!) WTF???? You ordered a 6" lift & they install a 4" instead? what did they charge you for? Just so you know they are about a $200 difference in price.
The BDS 6" will give you NEW longer front strut assemblies that you reinstall your OE coil to....the 4" kit keeps your complete OEM strut assembly and just use a 4" spacer, so it's definitely easy to visually tell as well.
I would definitely ask for a refund from them if they charged you for a 6"...or have the order the 6" struts in, install them & also pay for a new front end alignment too. Wow! .... That's messed up!
Hope the info helps & keep us posted!

Appreciate the reply. My measurments are 26 1/4 in front amd 28 in rear. Yea they charged me for a 4" lift. I went up there and compared receipts. They mixed their notes up when I placed my order. I asked for a 6" lift with a 4" rear block. Then i switched to the 5" block after our first discussion. The shop then ordered a 4" lift with the 5" block, installed and alligned.

What made me notice was the rake of course but after i went in after a few hundred miles to check torque and allignment I was washing the fender walls and noticed the 4" block in the front. I thought, thats not right. So i went on BDSs website to compare kits and sure enough, i had the four. After talking with BDS he told me the only difference was what they add up front seeing how i already have the 5" block. But yes, i will have to pay for the 6" IFS struts. It came out just under 300 after tax. But labor and alligment is free.

Not a problem at all & glad I can help.
At least they weren't trying to get one over on you & just made a communication mistake, but still - wow!.... they messed up what you wanted.
I never measured the rear because I know it's up higher & inaccurate because I still have 20 pounds of air in the Firestone air bags from the past weekend. Also you have the OEM flares & I have the Bushwacker's so there's also the slight difference there too...but it doesn't sound like your not too far away from my stance in the front. (less than 2").
Also,...You better double check with BDS on just getting the 6" front struts and simply add them on. I know it sounds like a simple add, but I remember a conversation I had with them last year that some, not all, brackets ARE different on the 4" versus the 6", but still use the same knuckles.
Good luck & let us know the results!

Thats for the shop to figure out haha. They messed it up and they can deal with it. Just as long as my measurements are correct (which ill be taking befoe i pull away) and the front end gets a lift. 10-4 Ill let you know how it turns out. Some before and after pictures.
