Nice works ok installed the 72000 last week. Sometimes the remote loses the controller. Talked to Airlift and they said to do a join on it. Have to drop spare tire as that is where I mounted everything. Hope to get time this weekend to do it.
May also try taking the blocks out from under springs to lower it so it will sit as before installing bags. Have to talk to dealer as I still have warranty on it until June 2016.

Hope you get that resolved. The distance between the two is probably the reason why you loose it then?
Good idea on removing the rear blocks if you're going to keep the 20 psi in for your leveled results. Don't know why you're experiencing a bottoming out feel & have to keep more air in to resolve that.... But that should work good for you & a good idea - you'll just need to get shorter U bolts & that should resolve that issue you're experiencing. Keep us posted!

We installed the Firestone kit last weekend on the F150Lifts truck. Very easy install and a great kit. Hauling or towing...a lil' blast of air and you are level again! Love them!

I have an airlift wireless system and have never once lost connection.

I don't have the wireless system, refeertek does.
Though I do think it's a cool idea. I think his issue is too far away as his compressor is back near the spare tire. I've heard the wireless system is good. (I decided to go with the a pillar pod gauge instead, but the wireless system was my second choice).

In the instructions that came with the bags it shows what the height should be between upper and lower brackets. To get mine to the 5" minimum I need about 10 psi. The remote sometimes loses the manifold when in the drivers seat.
I looked everywhere for mounting the compressor and on another thread where you and cerhai were posting I decided to mount up above spare tire.

Airlift assured me that it would be ok even though we get some really nasty winters with salt, gravel and cold so we will see. With the short hoses it does inflate and deflate pretty fast.
Why mine bottoms out with low psi in them I have no idea but do know another that has the same issue as myself.
Anyways your install of the gauge looks really good.

Wondering all you that say 5 psi works do you have any box covers on as I have a Leer 700 on mine and that may be the difference

All I have is an extang encore foldable hard cover. (Prob weighs around only 20lbs, I would guess), I'm sure your leer 700 definitely weighs more, so yes, that's another possibility on the variance.
Even though I have a suspension lift on my truck, our distance of the leafs to the frame should still be the same, so that's just kind of odd you need a little more air than myself, so that extra weight may be why your experiencing that?

Thanks for the compliment. I remember us talking on the other thread & about mounting locations too.... You also have a good location for your unit & probably won't see that much winter crud up there , so I think you should be fine. (Even if you get a little snow & slush splashing there, you could always make a plate to divert & protect it a little more)... But you really should be fine keeping it there too, I would think. I'm also curious, can you see where it us hitting or bottoming out? If the upper & lower brackets are touching, .... Raising or removing that lift block should not change those distance points. So I'm curious if your able to see where it's actually touching?
