rear add a leaf

Default rear add a leaf

Anyone do a add a leaf and how did it change the ride any rougher? Got a 6" zone lift currently and planning.on running a leaf and blistein 5100s up front to give me about 8" of lift anyone have thoughts on this

For what it's worth, Stage3 Motorsports has a 8" lift of their website. They are also members here on the forum. Might be worth checking out.

Sounds like he already has the 6" Installed and wants 2 more, Dunno if a whole lift would be worth it for him, if that is the case.

Your Sig, describes me very well. My wife doesn't get it. LOL

Yes I already have a 6" zone just wondering if this is a good set up to add another 2", that kit comes with rancho but I hear people like the blistein better

There is a few threads about the same thing in the 04-08 Model years IIRC, I am pretty sure you can run aal and a level coilover no issues, as long as you are not leveled already. You are not stacking blocks or pucks or anything unsafe.

I installed an add a leaf kit a while back. It was easy to install and raised the rear about 2 inches. Biggest downside was the stiff ride. The kit basically replaces the flat main with an arched one and really stiffens up the springs.

The idea was that he could talk to them since they have a kit that uses the add a leaf, they could give thoughts and feedback. (I think they have that kit installed on one of their trucks. Could be wrong. )
