Rattling & Shakes might force me to sell
Hey i have a 2012 f150 xtr Yes i have a lift and 37's i understand that makes the right rougher etc however this truck has been like this since the start the dealership hasnt been able to fix it and i cannot handle it anymore i feel like im driving an old suzuki samurai .. Over every bump both front doors and both rear suicide doors shake furiously and bounce around.. not only is it audible but you cant help but notice them SHAKING around you which in turn you feel through the seat and steering wheel. Does anyone have a good solid fix for this and has any else had this problem... There is barely any adjustment in the striker etc.. I am a ticketed automotive refinisher so dont think im just a little nerd who cant figure it out haha

0.9% is for suckers!
I guess if Ford and a pro body man can't find it there's not much option.
I have a 2012 FX4 and my doors don't rattle, but I'm on stock suspension so it rides like a truck.

Ya. Buy some surgical tubing and run it through the weatherstrip around the doors.Try that first.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say...maybe it's your lift and 37's?

it amazes me the people on here who modify their trucks from stock, THEN, start complaining about multiple issues as a result of the modification....

In Dale we trust.
In his defense I don't think a suspension modification can make doors rattle over small bumps. Unless there's a missing lift component that requires door modification

Maybe before you make stupid comments you should read. i mentioned that it has done this since the beginning... Lift kits dont cause the doors to be a poor design and flap.. That would be like saying when you drive over a speed bump in your truck it would be acceptable for the doors to flap around... mine is a LITTLE bit rougher over bumps then before because the tires are firmer.. thats the main difference not the lift.. the smallest dips in the road make mine flap around so again like if you went over a speed bump
