Does the brake light work on your stock third brake light? Check the fuse labeled CHMSL

I checked the CHMSL fuse (fuse# 15 in the passenger footwell), fuse is good. Still stumped. Brake LEDs on my raptor light do not work, but cargo lamps do.

ill have to check. The recent snow and sub-freezing temps here have made it tough to get around to it. But I will check and report back....

Default Problem

i recently got my hands on a used third brake light from a raptor. I was shown that it is in full functionality. However, I cannot get the brake lights (leds) to light up.
The light came with the harness pig tailed to the housing unit. 3 wires. Red, white, black with white stripe.
I purchased a replacement harness only to find out that it was for a normal third brake light. A replacement harness for the raptor only comes with an entire new housing.
I spliced the new harness to it and the cargo lights work but the brake light does not.
I know that the black with white stripe is for the running lights (low led) and the red is for the brake (high led).
Any ideas?

Did you run a separate wire for the running lights or is your year compatible and plug and play?

I did.
However, I did find the issue. Turns out that just because the wires are certain colors it does not necessarily mean their function.
So, the ground is white... I'm an idiot!
It took me about 20 minutes (the next day) after staring at various pictures of complete wiring harnesses.

Has anyone had any issues with using RTV to reseal their light?
Any paint problems from it?
