Just got mine installed in my 14 XLT. I had the four wires so it works like a champ. Got the running lights and all. Score!

Lucky. I have a 10/13 XLT, which you would think is a '14, but its not, and no running light wire..

Its the same bulbs... just no brake light bulbs.

I installed mine in my 14 XLT a couple of weeks ago. My truck was built 12/2014 and it didn't have the 4th wire. Light still looks awesome though.

Man...just checked my 2013 FX2 2WD.. no dice..no 4th wire! GRRRR..But thnx to you guy's here....bought the Fuse Tap at Oriley's. Slid right into the #40 Fuse....Pre wired everything....just need the light to tap into which is on it's way! should be easy once I get the light! Great Info on this thread! good job everyone! Made it easy to do mod! Can't wait till my light comes in!

That's crazy. My 14 XLT was built in Dec 2013 and had the 4 wires. Maybe models with factory HIDs have the 4th wire? (Mine has factory HIDs).

Maybe...cause mine did not have the OEM HIDS! But it's wierd which trucks have them and ones that don't! Lol

I have the factory hid headlight on my 14 FX4 and I don't have the 4th wire from th factory..... It seems to be a random thing whether you get it or not.
