Default Raptor third brake light installed!!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the posts on this. I installed my raptor brake light tonight. Ran wire with fuse tap (fuse 40) tied into the black wire with white tracer to get running light feature to work. Took about 30 min because of all the info here.

Default fuse tap (fuse 40)

For those using an 'add-a-circuit' tap at fuse 40, what Add-a-Circuit device model are you using? The reason I ask is that my 2013 uses ATM Mini Low Profile fuses and an ATM Mini Low Profile Add-a-Circuit tap simply will not fit into the slot. The body of the tap is too big to fit in the cavity above the fuse slot.

AutoZone carries one brand and that's what I've used on the 3 trucks I have done this install on. The Mini Low Profile will fit, it just takes a perfect attempt to make it fit. If you take your fuse out and compare to the dimensions of the new add a circuit, they are the same. It's the cover or sheathing around it that makes it extra snug.

Thanks TJPlatinumEB. I will try again. My first attempt with the ATM Mini Low Profile didn't work, however, the regular ATM Mini (with contacts sticking out further) does work. I was just wondering if I was missing something. I am attaching photos of each. Please let me know which one you use. Thanks!

I used the mini with longer blades.

Old request but I had to order the same harness so just posting up the part number if anyone else is searching around like I do looking for info; harness only: AL3Z-13A625-A

Found my light on ebay used for $40 shipped but the harness was cut so the owner could easily splice in their aftermarket tinted light thus the need for a new one.

Default Raptor third brake light installed!!

Had to remind me about the raptor light today....!
I've wanted one for 9 months. Since the new truck.
Well, didn't get to my 2nd cup of coffee, but I now have a light on the way.

Did I just realize, that the raptor light...doesn't have a cargo light?
Not that the cargo light, has actually ever actually helped me see my cargo! So it's no great loss.
I'll trade the running lights, for that wimpy light any day.

Yes it does. It has a cargo light just like your stock light. I have 2 of these brake lights and yes they both do lol.
