Ya I don't want drone as I plan on doing a few 20+ hour road trips this summer. Would I be better off just replacing the stock muffler with something else? I don't want loud, but more of a grumble. Nothing annoying. Leave that for the mustang haha

first off, 200 bux is crazy expensive for a raptor exhaust. most guys cant give them away so 100 is a fair offer.
I have one on mine and combined with the raptor res. it seems pretty much perfect. a lil more tone than stock but still seems quiet.
I had it without the resonator and it did have a touch of drone. I bought my truck used with a hacked up aftermarket exhaust and it was too loud for me so I have been spending time trying to get it to a point I like it. the jerk who owned it before me cut the flange off the stock y-pipe. so it was wasy for me to add in a stock raptor resonator.
had a buddy cut off the flange and weld on a 3" I.D. adapter sleeve to the inlet of the raptor res. and slid it onto the existing aftermarket section of pipe that was elded to the stock Y. after that it was all factory raptor stuff.
ever since I had my RCSB 5.0 I have been experimenting with different exhaust setups. now with the complete raptor resonator and cat back I think I am finally happy.

$200 I think is a great price. I'd pay that right now!

I'm not a fan of the dual tips, If it was single out I'd buy one!

I actually did this mod last week myself. My commute recently doubled time-wise, and my dumped Magnaflow with the ford resonator delete was a little much for 90 min a day in the truck. I wasn't planning on doing anything, but came across a raptor cat-back on craigslist for $50! Feel like I stole it for that price! I kept my resonator delete, and got the raptor exhaust put on pretty easily. Muffler shop had to fix one of the hangars, but other than that, it "bolted" right up. It toned down the exhaust quite a bit from what I had before, but it's still a nice deep sound, and is pretty quiet while cruising. Step on it and it sounds pretty stout, but nothing over the top. Overall, I'd say worth it if you don't want to go really loud

Btw: used wheel cleaner and mothers metal Polish after this pic, made the tips look brand new

Will the Raptor exhaust fit a Screw with 5.5 bed?

I had no idea that the raptor exhaust was worthless as far as $$ goes. I thought $200 would have been a good price. I have been looking as well to change mine out and thought I wouldnt be able to afford it as far as bang for buck goes. Thanks for this info. I now know what to look for in price.
Are there any other alternatives to the Raptor exhaust as far as stock goes? My 5.0 XLT is just a little to quiet and as well am looking for a little more rumble.

It should, I can tell you that the one I bought was off a "standard-sized" raptor with a short bed and ext cab.

My truck is an ext can with a 6.5 bed, and my mid-section resonator delete measures 30 inches long. And it all fit fine
