Default Raptor take off exhaust

Hey guys...

I got offered a raptor exhaust for 200 bucks from a buddy. Anyone have any info on benefits of putting it on my 5.0? Does it improve anything? Does it sound better?

Currently I have stock exhaust with a tip welded on. Looks good but that's about it.

Anyone have any clips of sound or pics on a non raptor?

I would recommend doing the Raptor resonator. You would need an adapter to go from the 3" resonator to OEM pipe, but that would be fairly easy. Much more open sound to gain without gaining drone. The whole system wouldn't be bad.

Nothing special. Those are not the stock tips. The stock raptor tips are, not tips. Just tube. And ugly at that. For $100 I'd recommend a Borla ProXS muffler. If you want decent tips, you can get those separately, or just cut the tips off.

This guy has it plus the resonator delete on his 5.0. I believe he is a member on here as well, so didn't think he would mind me referencing his truck.

Sounds pretty slick to me if you don't want it too loud, I think $200 is high though. Agree that $100 is a reasonable amount to offer t

I have a Raptor exhaust on my 5.0. Sounds much better than stock, but not too loud

I thought about the resonator delete, but I'm afraid of drone.
