Hey guys,

I am currently in the process of doing a steering wheel swap on my 2011 XLT with the gray interior. I purchased a used 2010 Raptor steering wheel for a really good price, but my issue is that the raptor wheel is charcoal black and does not match my airbag currently in my truck at the moment. Has anyone done this swap and was your airbag a different color and did it look stupid?? If you have pics please post or shoot me suggestions on what I can do...Thanks!!

Northlight had good pictures of his swap.. the XLT dash is all black isnt it? I dont think an all black steering wheel would look bad.. if u havent already, u can also paint the airbag cover and instrument cluster bezel to add more black

• quality product.
• comes in a variety of colors.
• have used it to color interior trim panels/pieces.

I would think you could just buy vinyl dye for interiors and dye it to match... Better than paint IMO since it shouldn't hinder operation.

The problem I have is the airbag cover I have now is gray and the steering wheel I bought is black. The all black steering wheel would look good because there is plenty of black in the cab. But I gotta figure out how and the best way to get the airbag cover to match

I'm betting that 15303 (graphite ... used this for a Marauder dark charcoal / charcoal black) may be a match for the Raptor's black interior (7B). If not there are 3 other different blacks.

Check with a local paint supply shop.

Has anyone installed this wheel? What makes it better than the raptors? Is it just the color?
