So a 2" block and raptor rear shocks for the back. Now should I do blisten 5100 shocks and upper contol arms or fox 2.0 coil overs? Trying to stay under $1000

Not very long. I've only had my truck for about 3 weeks, its brand new, I just bought it. I put the rear raptor shocks on about 10 days ago, but I do intend on using my truck off road some. Not the Baja style or anything, just out at the deer lease or on ranch roads. I do haul with my trucks too so I'm thinking that with any significant amount of tongue weight and some bad bumps, I am running the risk of bottoming out the shocks?

I do go offroad a little and I don't like the thought of bottoming out my raptor shocks and doing damage to them or shock mounts themselves. I guess its time to order a bigger block. So I need to order a 2" block and swap it out with the factory fx4 block?

Honestly...get the BOSS Coil Overs! You can dial them down/up depending on future needs. Far outweigh the 5100 or a leveling kit.

Ride quality is subjective but that's the complete opposite of my experience.

what is it like compared to the stock suspension? Is it stiffer or just as nice?

So it sounds to me that a 2" or 2.5" block is the better fit for raptor rears than the stock block. I installed raptor shocks two months ago and since day one I could tell something was not right. They handle fantastic with bigger hits like G-outs but the small bump response was worse. It feels more chattery, almost like the shock is popping up because it is compressed more than it should be. Has anyone else with raptor shocks on the stock block felt this? From the driver seat the sensation is like something in the back end is loose, I've checked all the bolts and this is not the case.

I should be getting my rear shocks in a week or so. I'm going to install them on the stock block first and I will let you know if I'm havin gong the same feeling in the truck you are.
