I finally hit 10k miles on my 13 Limited today and checked my trip meter which I haven't reset since the day I left the dealership with it. I did a little light towing over the summer, maybe 800 miles or so. Otherwise it is a mix of city and hwy driving. I'm quite disappointed with the mileage considering what we were told on the sticker. Otherwise nothing major to complain about. Power is great, I love the tech stuff. Definitely towing and comfort are the trucks strongest points in my opinion. It really shines with a little weight behind it. Anyway, that's my experience so far.

Time to trade her in..10k, I hear you on the mileage. Who ever does the testing and slaps stickers on all F150's, tested it in a regular cab, 4x2,EB with 3.15 gears going 55 mph. What pisses you off is they slap the same sticker on all the F150's regardless of weight, gearing, cab configuration or bed..One sticker fits all. Oh well, it is what it is..Mine's getting ready to hit 12k and its time for a new one..

I'd say you just started breaking her in! Just got a pic of 25000 last month. I agree the tech and towing are the best features. MPG is was it is. We drive trucks!

Here's a shot of mine taken this morning. She's a 2011 Lariat Screw and sits in the garage a lot as I drive a motorcycle daily and have been deployed or underway (stationed on a Navy ship) a lot since I bought her. I would say I haven't even started breaking her in yet and believe it or not she still has the new truck smell. I live in Hawaii so all the traffic is pretty much stop-n-go hence the low mpgs.

I first began my search for a new truck early this year looking at new leftover 12's. And there was plenty to choose from within a couple hundred miles. The one I was most interested in was a red lariat
in Charlotte that looked a lot like your black 11. They had huge discounts. On Memorial Day weekend I took off driving up there with intentions of buying the 12 but stopped at other dealers to see what was available along the way. I feel in love with the limited the second I first drove it. With the holiday weekend sales and rebates got my 13 for the same price as the leftover 12 I was driving 200 miles to go buy. It was an easy decision to make.
